hi,

i am working for cissp and i found isc2 website about passing standard like,

What is the passing proficiency level for adaptive testing?

The proficiency is defined here as “passing standard.” Candidates must score above the proficiency level in all Domains in order to pass the exam.

Below proficiency – below the passing standard
Near proficiency – close to the passing standard
Above proficiency – above the passing standard

isn't is ridicules? assume a got 100% on 7 domains and couldn't pass passing standart in 1 domain. will i fail the exam?

anyone experienced like above proficiency on 6 - 7 domains and below proficiency on 1-2 domians and failed?

My understanding, as I study for CISSP myself, is that you must show "above proficiency" in all the 7 domains to pass. So, yes, if even one shows a "below proficiency" you will fail the whole exam. Makes the exam tough.
