Default IPMI versions 1.5 and 2.0 on server+ test objective

    Test objective 4.8

    Under section "Supporting knowledge includes"

It says "IPMI 1.5 and 2.0"

Can anyone tell me the difference?

Its very hard to understand. The PDF filed relating to the IPMI 1.5 specification is over 450 pages:

Thats bigger then my server+ Study books.

If you look at "Architectural Goals", "New for IPMI v1.5", and "New for IPMI v2.0", that should be more than enough information for you. It's only a few pages, and the test really isn't going to go too in-depth into it. My Server+ Bible doesn't even have an entry in the index for it.
